For me is the quality of the post photos. If Lightroom (iOS) gets a pc version update with same quality output, I can use just an iPad mini, a SSD and my camera.
I really want to like the iPad mini as an assistant to my workflow, but I haven’t been successful. It’s the physical form of it that I can’t get behind. It feels like a large phone. I am still a mobile phone plus laptop person, but if I figure out which dongles talk properly to my iPad mini and SSDs, I might make the leap.
After reading this for the first time I’m considering an iPad upgrade. Photo editing and a bit of YouTube would be all I’d use it for. I’ve got a work laptop for everything else.

There are so many devices out there that can be fit into our own use cases. Finding the one… can be tricky.
So far I’ve found the Samsung SSDs T7 and all the UGreen branded dongles work fine on any modern iPad. I use a small UGreen SD card on the mini.
