I really agree with this. I have come to really appreciate a small kit above all else, so for me the go-to kit is either A7C with Samyang 35mm 2,8 or Sigma 24mm 3,5 or for the more simple pleasures I just bring my Olympus Pen E-P1 with a pancake 17mm 2,8. The last one makes for a different kind of photography that kind of brings the pressure and expectation down. Sometimes that is exactly what you need 🙂

I tend to agree Eric. The camera is a tool and to know which tool to use you need to know what you’re going to use it for. No one will use a fork to eat soup. I’ve been on the Fuji side, loved the ergonomics on a general level but it was too limiting for some things I needed to do. Went back to Canon, two zooms, one small prime to go light. And always to keep in mind, budget is limited, at least for me 😝
